Android Studio Project

This project was completed as part of the GUI module in my second year at university. We were allowed full flexibility of what we could include in our app, as long as it included a variety of widgets, including Toasts, Text views, Image selectors, Buttons etc., as well as interaction between widgets.

At the time I had started playing table top role play games, inspiring the idea for this app. Character creation can be time consuming and involves flicking back and forth through the rule book, so I wanted to simplify that. Because this app includes licensed content from Savage Worlds, what I could/couldn't include in this app was thoroughly researched.

This app features:

• A complex form layout, including dynamic changes dependant on other form customisation including:
  • Digit changes and related calculations
  • Number of rows in tables changing for content
• Icon selection for each character from mobile storage
• Saving and loading character data from the character selection custom list-view
